How Mega Ball Works
Each round has two parts: the main draw and the Mega Ball.
The main draw. You buy cards during the betting window. Each card is a 5×5 grid with 24 numbers and a free space in the middle. The ball machine holds 51 numbered balls, and 20 of them are drawn one by one. Matching numbers on your cards are marked off automatically. Every completed line — across, down or diagonally — pays according to the paytable.
The Mega Ball. After the 20 balls, the game picks a random multiplier between 5x and 100x, then draws one more ball. If that ball completes a line on your card, the win for that card is multiplied. In some rounds a second Mega Ball is drawn; if both complete lines on the same card, only the higher multiplier counts. This final stage is where the big wins come from.
There are no side bets. The only decision you make is how many cards to buy and what each one is worth.
Cards, Lines and Payouts
Payouts are worked out per card, based on how many lines that card completes. More lines on a single card pay far more than the same number of lines spread across several cards.

A card can complete more than five lines, because lines count across, down and diagonally. When the Mega Ball completes a line, the payout for that card is multiplied by the drawn value (5x–100x). In the rarest possible case — a card full of lines with a 100x Mega Ball — the math reaches 1,000,000x the card stake.
That figure needs one honest caveat, and it is the most important number on this page:
Every win in Mega Ball is capped at €500,000 per round (or the local-currency equivalent), no matter what the multiplier says. The 1,000,000x you see quoted around the web is a theoretical ceiling that the cash cap cuts off long before you reach it. In practice, the cap means the headline multiplier is only fully payable on very small stakes. Raise your card value past a certain point and you are playing for the €500,000 limit, not for the 1,000,000x.
RTP and What It Means
The published RTP for Mega Ball is 95.05% on a single card, which is the best case. The more cards you buy, the lower it drifts — down to about 94.61% — because extra cards spread your numbers thinner. Either way, RTP is a long-run average across millions of rounds. It does not predict your session, and buying more cards does not improve it.
